Tapi's Great Adventure: Going International!

May 05, 2012 02:25

You may or may not remember Tapi's Great Adventure. That was a trip to São Paulo we did back in 2010 that I documented in photos of Tapi. Now, this year my parents and I (and a cousin, and some family friends) went to the US, and guess who tagged along ( Read more... )

Wow, it looks as if Tapi had an amazing adventure!! You can let Tapi know, that Pickles will be going to Disney World later this year. She is so excited, she can barely contain her wormy self...XD

Pickles got to ride on a roller coaster last year when we went to California. I held onto her little wormy behind for dear life...XD

I'm terrified of roller coasters, haha. No way I'd ride one with Tapi. Which is ok because he's scared too. =3=

I was afraid of roller coasters when I was younger, but I obviously got over that fear. Maybe, it was because I worked at a theme park for so long?! Pickles admits that she was scared...:3

I just plain don't like being shaken around, haha. It's not so much that I'm scared and think something will happen, it's more that I don't have fun in them because I feel physically uncomfortable. So I don't think I'll get over it. xDDD

Roller coaster will do that to you, some are worse then others! I understand what you are saying. There are things that make me physically uncomfortable too...

Yeah I think that's the point right? xDDD It's funny though, I really dislike roller coasters but I really like simulators like the old Back to the Future ride in Universal, or Soarin' in Epcot and stuff like that, and my dad loves roller coasters but really dislikes those, haha. He says they're way scarier, I don't get it. =p

I love the simulators too! One of my favorites was, "Days of Thunder" at King's Dominion (the very parked I worked at) here in VA. Sadly, they replace it with some James Bond simulator that wasn't as awesome. I have no clue what it is now, for Paramount no longer owns the park...:\

Ah, shame they replaced it! On the first time we went to Disney they still had the Back to the Future ride, but then on the next time it had already been replaced. :I Now it's a The Simpsons ride. And that's all fine and dandy but it's just... Not Back to the Future. It was my favorite simulator, too. Guess we just don't have any luck with those, uh?

I guess they have to replace them overtime?! Otherwise people get bored with the same old, same old. Though, I much rather ride something Back to the Future themed (love the movies) then Simpsons themed...;)

I personally wouldn't mind if they revamped the ride but kept the theme, haha. I sure hope they don't replace the MIB one by the time I get to visit again! ;^;

Revamping isn't a bad idea, though they may not be able to get the actors to do their parts anymore?! Oh, I'd love to try the MIB simulator...:D

Good point. But it'd still be nice. *stubborn as hell xD* Ah, the MIB one is great! :D You get divided in teams to shoot the aliens, then you get a rank based on how everyone did. This year my mom and I got the best rank. \o\

Heck, I'm sure there are ways they could cut up the footage of the original simulator to make something newer. They are probably just to lazy to tempt it...:P

Teams you say?! Pickles & I can be on one team, the Rodney & Pickles can be on another! Wait, I don't think that would work...XD

With the things they do nowadays, I wouldn't be surprised if that were true!

I don't think that would work either. xDDD
