"I'm crawling back to start..."
Wow, I'm behind a bit to say the least. I was really burned out after NaNoWriMo. I've been enjoying catching up on my reading and letting the writing slide a little bit. I've got a good start on a short story (another pirate one) and I wrote a short holiday story as a Christmas present to a friend. Other than that I've been wildly unsuccessful at getting any serious writing done. I'm kind of alright with that, at least for now. I'll try and kick it up again in January.
I got some great new books for Christmas: A Repairman Jack novel, the REH Horror collection from Del Ray, an AMC top New England hikes book (can't wait for the snow to move out), a biography of a Viking woman voyager, and a Michael Crichton novel. I also got some Borders gift cards. I am a very happy pirate :)
I made some mix CDs for Christmas. They're pretty uncreatively titled but I think the mixes are pretty good.
More later... I had the worst non-concussion-related headache ever this morning so I'm typing this with my sunglasses on :0P I don't wish to tempt the fates more than I already am.
