My friend
Jill asked me to do a
guest blog on her site today about the rules and limitations placed on relationships and how that's affected Christopher and I. I really enjoyed writing this blog. I always get a touch of writer's block when I want to write on one specific topic, but I think it came together nicely. I wasn't sure exactly what she wanted, so I was writing kind of aimlessly to begin with, but I hope I did justice to what she was looking for. I've never been asked to write on someone else's blog before, and it's a little bit flattering. It's always nice to feel like someone values your thoughts and your writing style enough to want to subject others to it.
So, tomorrow is <3s Day.
Christopher brought home a beautiful bouquet of lavender flowers for me. They have these sort of white stripes along them, and they're just gorgeous. I love their color. Unfortunately, our digital camera battery had expired, so I've got charge it before I can take any photos. I really love them, though. He also gave me a bag of scouring pads. Which I didn't really understand. Then he told me that starting tomorrow I don't have to wash a single dish for the whole week. Isn't he the sweetest husband in existence?
Tomorrow evening we have reservations at Il Fornello, the Italian restaurant we went to for our anniversary. I'm really excited. Will I have the tried and true fettucine alfredo? The delicious chicken asiago that Christopher had last time? Something entirely different? Who knows! I wish we could afford to go out for breakfast together too, as there's just something incredibly romantic to me about couples eating breakfast together in restaurants. It reminds me of eternal love, and I don't know why. But I've found a recipe for stuffed cottage cheese sandwiches, which Christopher seems skeptical of but I thought sounded yummy, that I think I may try to cook for us tomorrow.
Hope everyone else has a good Saturday, too. :-)
