No need to be nervous! I thought this was wonderful. It was a perfect combination of fumbly and sweet. And I liked that their relationship wasn't instantly perfect, that they would both struggle with the workings of having a boyfriend/girlfriend. And it was a really great use of the prompt. Great job! :)

Oh, thanks for the reassurance! It's good to try new things as a writer, but it's not always easy. I'm glad fumbly/sweet came through. I think that's how they would be in the beginning.

It's still wonderful! Congrats for writing something that you're not familiar/entirely comfortable with and doing it very well!

*starts planning on how to nicely bug you to start writing *MORE* H/G (smutty or otherwise ;P) now that you're back from your writing sabbatical. :D *

Great job!

Aw - you didn't have to read it again! And perfect icon, btw!:)
I'm writing a longer story right now, which I hope to start posting by the end of June, so you don't have to scheme. :) Thanks again!

I always love your h/g conflicts and heated but respectful resolutions. You've got them not only identifying their feelings to one another, but also what's caused those feelings, love it. Your George was hilarious there at the end ;).

2 years huh? Your talents don't seem rusty at all. I love that they were in the dark and poor Harry couldn't see all that he would have liked to. You're writing something longer????? Already looking forward to that!

I do think H/G would have their conflicts - especially when they were younger - they're a lot alike and have tempers. But I they're not the type to enjoy the conflict (like R/Hr), and I would think they'd really try to get back on track as quickly as possible.

Glad you liked George. He almost got the cut because this was getting to be so long.

Yes, I'm writing a multi-chapter H/G set during their engagement. I'm not going to post until I have most of it written (less pressure that way) but I hope to start posting at the end of June. LOL - if I stop getting side-tracked with smut!

Thanks so much for reading and reviewing!

Oh, hooray!! I'm so happy that you're doing this! I haven't seen many multi-chaptered, post-DH stories that I've like, but I know I'll like yours!

There were a couple of sentances, at the beginning of the story, that look like they're supposed to be stand alone paragraphs, but don't have the double spacing that the other paragraphs do.

Great story!

I'll look into the spacing - I don't know why that happened. *ponders the mysteries of computers* Yes, I'm excited to have had an idea for a longer story. I have some fun side-plots that I hope will add to what H/G are going through. Thanks for reading!

LOL - I know. Is there a blue moon this month?

I never post anything NC-17 on my journal - just cause I don't lock it and I know there are some younger people who read there. If I wrote for a different pairing, I'd probably would put it on my journal and then lock it. *ponders* Ask moonette about the NC-17 Will Wood story I wrote for her a while back. :)

I'm glad you thought the sexy parts were real (as opposed to purple prose) - that's what I'm hoping to convey rather than anything too romaniticized.

*hugs back* I needed a hug today. Thank you.

*hugs again*

It is my personal philosophy that it never hurts to have an extra hug or two. Particularly when needed. :-)

Will Wood smut? Now there's something that I can't pass up! *runs off to find moonette*
