Shoot for the stars and hit the moon
So I did not make the 50K word goal this month. I'm jumping off at 37K. Noble first attempt and the story line is worth working over later I think. I'm not quite at the end of things but I know where it's going and have things more or less fleshed out in my head. I'll say a good first attempt given everything going on. I'll definitely be doing NaNoWriMo in November this year. Completely different world/storyline though :) Have to let this one stew for a bit before putting it through the revision wringer.
I'm a little disappointed but it was fun and writing a novel in a month is a bit of an ambitious goal to set.
