Hey look Ma! I'm writing a novel! Whheeeeee!

I'm still on track for 50K words this month. I seem to write in sprints. Finish the sprint and think that NOW is the time the story will end and I'll fall short of 50K.

Main character is a collection of microbes who have patterned themselves after a human. She has the memories of that person and thinks of herself as that person. But she has some pretty awesome superpowers and toys she can play with because she's really just a collection of microbes with quantum driven quorum sensing.

Right now I'm at 30K and so far my main character has: 1) found reason to run away and done so 2) hidden on an alien space station 3) found someone from her own cultural past there 4) rescued that someone and 5) got caught and interrogated trying to find out more information. She still has to 1) find out Earth is slated for bio-exploitation 2) decide to try to save it.

She could break herself out in fairly short page count. It wouldn't be neat but would be in character. That would more or less end this story line. Instead I'm going to go back in the story and fill in some plot gaps. Maybe inspiration will strike or I'll discover more backstory then I thought was there. Or maybe this trilogy will turn into one really long book.
