There's no time to say goodbye. There’s no time to say all the things I need to say to you, all the things I should have said to you the first time I met you. No time to say all the things I should have said the first time you insulted me, the first time you fell down on the floor in humiliation and painful defeat. The first time you kneeled before me and admitted humble surrender, the first time you looked at me and knew me.
Time just always seems to be scarce in the moments we need it most.
I am a warrior. But I'm a girl, too.
And I’ll never forget you.
