I want to locate a library, when I decide it’s safe to abscond from this room. However this place seems dreadfully raucous today, I wonder, is it always like this?
I also desire someone to clean my room, which I have discovered is number 101. I reject the idea of existing in this filth for any length of time, and henceforth I require service.
As I have heard there is no money used here, I query, what is the currency?
Now for my personal musings: Thus far, I have met several of the residents here at the so called ‘Jigoku’ apartments. My notes on them will be disjointed, but for my future reference, they are necessary.
The first tenant that I wish to comment on is Bakura, family name unknown as yet. He is mysterious, secretive and suspicious, manipulative, and self confident. I imagine there is a high possibility he has proven his confidence with reason to himself as well as others. The amusement in his tone suggests he copes well under pressure. His skill with card manipulation enlightens me to the fact that this boy must be someone who can intake knowledge and apply it easily. A useful individual.
Next, Ryuuga. A calm seeming child despite being in such a place which leads me to believe he hides a great many things about himself in his method of communication. In general he comes across as mundane, as boring, but I feel that this can not be so, after all, here he is and this hardly seems the time or situation for ‘normal.’
Mrs Lovett. What can I say? I know the epicentre of her life and death. If she is as I perceive, the genuine article, I believe I should keep my knowledge of her personal affairs to myself until such a time when they will prove useful to me.
Violet Beauregarde has potential. It concerns me that a child is here of course; then again she will grow from it I’m sure. Further concern arises because she seems to have an ill fate from the story in which I know her, just like Mrs Lovett. Since both are here, does this mean that all of the people here are destined for ill will also? Or that we are all indeed a story set in motion for someone else’s entertainment? For whose entertainment then, are we in this particular place to satisfy?
It’s all very fascinating. Without doubt, I am… intrigued.
