Ribs and BBQ sauce

I got creative again, and made my own BBQ sauce.  Which went perfectly on ribs.  It's sweet and flavorful with a slight tang and burn.  So, of course I'm including the recipe here :D



4oz water
3oz red wine vinegar
1/4 C honey
1/4 C minced garlic
1 tsp Larry's Hot Pussy Juice hot sauce
3 tsp hoisin sauce
1/4 tsp ginger
~1/8 tsp bhut jolokia powder
1/2 tsp smoked spanish paprika
1/2 tsp ginger powder
1/2 tsp chipotle flakes

Mix all the ingredients together in a small saucepan.  On low heat, cook until it becomes a thick syrup, about two hours.

Ribs

Rub liberally with the sauce above.  Wrap tightly in tinfoil.  In a 250 degree oven, put the foil packages.  After an hour, flip the packages.  Wait 1.5 hours more.  Remove from oven, let sit for 10 minutes or so to let the juices redistribute.  Pull open the packages and enjoy.
