Stupid, stupid Japanese Literature Teachers

Lots of notes to the tune of 'I really enjoyed reading this,' and 'You really seemed to get Yoshida Kenkou' and nineteen and a half out of twenty with the additional comments that it was the highest mark among everybody taking the course (by half a point) and that the teacher just didn't give perfect scores because she'd always find an out of place full stop or something (I am deeply ashamed of my proof-reading. I just can't do it for meself, as the actress said...).

Now I have to work hard on the second essay so it'll match. It's late and I'm tired and there's a pile of books.

Gah. Teachers that make me work hard, grumble, rassum, frassum, bah!

On another note, have embarked on dating for the first time in years. Is rather nice, when it isn't deeply, deeply scary.

Supportive comments on the lines of "You won't mess it up this time!" would be appreciated.
