Entertaining...ish
Okay, it's really weird that I found this (I blame newien ; it was a "related video" to one he posted) but I just thought it was a cute presentation. I don't entirely understand what I would need to do if I actually was making a sailor outfit, but her sewing machine is adorable. Thus, you get to see it.
Hhm...it looks weird here, but let's hope it shows up in the journal.
Otherwise, the news here involves the lowest portion of the bookcases my dad has been working on for a couple months with my uncle: it is installed! Today, I believe they're doing the final shortening of the shelves and trim. Just so you know, it's beautiful. That it'll get book boxes off our floor certainly helps.
Also, yesterday night at 9:00 PM, my mother and I had officially survived our second VBS in ten days. We came home, and my dad had gone out to get pizza, which we ate while watching a Mentalist rerun. I managed to turn my light off at exactly midnight (which is much better than the 4:00 and 2:00 of the preceding nights, when I had The Last Battle to read).
And today I am packing for my mission trip to Panama. Technically, I have a week before I life-and-death need to be ready, but it's so much better to have that much time for the inevitable last minute "I need a dozen lightweight long-sleeved shirts, and six pairs of pants would be nice, and oh! a handful of socks wouldn't hurt, but only Wal*mart Super-center is open this late--did anyone remember to withdraw the money I'll need to EAT?"s.
Anyhoo, I should go be doing that. See ya!
