Oh, forgot to note that I'm not sure what "Image > Adjustments > Variations" translates to for PSP7. Would you know off-hand or know where I could find that information? Thanks!

Oy, I don't know either...PSP and me, we're like oil and water. The person who commented above you is a PSP user...maybe you can ask them? If all else fails, try using Curves to lighten it just a little bit.
