AN: Sorry this took so long (again!) Im going through a bunch of family crap right now and my mind hasnt really been on Krastro. *Throws up hands* DONT SHOOT. Im also sorry to those of you who speak spanish and find mistakes. I dont speak it, and I dont know if the translator I used is correct, I also have no idea where the line breaks would go. I hope you can forgive my complete ignorance on the subject. Songs are "Aint No Sunshine" and "Hallelujah" both have been covered many times
Kris pulled out of the kiss before Jason did, stepping around him and moving to open the frosted glass door of 19E. Since this was slated for release on Kris' album, it had been done through his label, though there was talk at Atlantic that it might make a nice first single, assuming Kris didnt want to release it. Neither Kris nor Jason had originally planned or wanted to do this. It was a ploy for decent press by 19E, in effort to pull him out of the wreckage that the "Fall of Kradam"(as it was so dubbed by the rags) had caused. Kris felt as though a knife were turning in his stomach, wrenching his gut. This was essentially his last ditch, and he hoped to God it would work. That was assuming that God still listened to his hopes and dreams after what he had done and who he had become in the last few yeas. He drew in a slow breath and walked with what he hoped was confidence up to the maplewood desk.
"Kris Allen and Jason Castro here to see Mr Simon Fuller please Ma'am" he gave a little half grin at the obviously flustered, tiny brunette. Southern boy charm always works.
"Right away Mr Allen." She looked over him to acknowledge Jason. "Mr. Castro" Jason nodded at her as she punched a button on the complicated phone system. "Mr Fuller? Yes sir, Castro and Allen are here." Visibly redfaced, she rose from her desk and motioned to them, "follow me." They did so.
Once inside the room with the door shut, Kris took a seat and laid his hands on the dispicably white table. "So this is it." Mumbling, the words werent really meant for anyone. Suddenly Kris felt a hand on the small of his back and looked up to see Jason hunched over him, a shadow so big it blocked the unatural light of the room and emitted its own ereathral one. Kris lost himself for a minute.
"Hey" Jason murmered. "Its gonna be ok"
Kris wanted so badly to believe him, wanted so badly to do alot of things with Jason. Kris said nothing.
"Can I try something?" Jason asked in earnest. Kris cocked an eyebrow and Jason took this as his cue to continue.
"Sing Sunshine for me." he said.
Kris began, not sure what Jason's ploy was here.
"Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
It's not warm when she's away
Ain't no sunshine when she's gone
She's gone much too long
Any time she goes away"
Suddenly Jason came in with:
"Oí que había un acorde secreto que David jugó y él satisfizo al señor Pero usted don' ¿de t cuidado realmente para la música, hace usted? Va bien como esto: El cuarto, el quinto, la caída de menor importancia y la elevación principal el rey desconcertado Hallelujah que compone Hallelujah del Hallelujah del Hallelujah del Hallelujah…"
"If you dont record it exactly that way, Kris. Im relieving you from your contract." Simon Fuller stood in the doorway, an excited twinkle in his eye.
Both men looked at him in surprise. Kris stood and began to speak but Simon cut him off.
"Shut up Allen. I really dont care what you have to say. You are going to do what you and Mr. Castro have just done and get the track laid, because its brilliant. No ifs, ands, or buts." He winked at the pair and left the room. Kris stood dumbfounded.
"Thank you?" he breathed, his voice barely a wisp on the wind, he was dumbfounded. Jason just grinned cheekily.
"Youre welcome, and again...you owe me Allen." Jason growled lowly, a mere half an inch from Kris' face.
Kris pulled at Jason's lip for a moment, nipping it before running his toungue over. "Dont worry, babe. I intend to pay"
