The ride to the record company was mostly quiet. They were stopped at a red light when Jason spoke. Clearing his throat, he began.
"Kris? Are we um...are we a thing?"
Kris' head snaps to Jason and he immeadiately regrets the decision to voice the question. His eyes are soft when he answers, but his whole body is a ball of tension. "I dont know, would you like to be a thing? You seem pretty terrified of me."
"I am not terrified of you Kris. Im terrified of everything that surrounds the feelings I have involving you. Please dont get me wrong, I was not now, nor was I ever, afraid of you."
"Ok." Kris says quietly as he accelerates through the light.
"Ive never had feelings for another dude before, youll have to be paitient with me" Jason knows he is rambling slightly, but all this nervous energy makes it too hard to care how stupid he must sound.
"Before Adam, I didnt either. Not really."
"What about Adam, do you still love him?" Jason watches the hurt cloud Kris' eyes and regrets being the instigator of this one sided 20 questions.
"Thats a really hard question to answer man. Adam was my everything for a long time. He helped me see who I truly am then proceeded to use my love and throw it away. But, he will always be my first real love. Nothing will ever change that. I cant put everything I have into loving him anymore though, he has a whole other life that doesnt include me. So, yes but no. Besides, I discovered my love for dreaded guys with long eyelashes lately." Jason went red and an Adam-esque smirk appeared on Kris' face.
"Right," Jason said, "can we take this slow then?"
Kris turned into the corporate parking lot. "Are you answering your own question and telling me that we're a thing?"
Jason nodded the affirmative. It was then Kris leaned in and took initiative.
The kiss was slow and tentative, Kris let Jason set the pace. He was unable to hold back a moan when Jason nipped at his lip and licked it before deepening the kiss and threading his fingers through Kris' short brown hair. He traced his fingers over the opening in Kris' button down shirt and kissed from his jawline to his shoulder before Kris gently pushed him off.
"Youre cute and all, but Im totally not having our first time be in my car. I have no way of grabbing your ass." Jason laughed then.
The pair got out of the vehicle and laced thier fingers with one another before strolling toward the building. Kris stopped to open the door and turned to his new found lover. "One more question" he said as he watched Jason's expression turn quizzical. "Top or bottom?"
At this, his adorable new boy's mouth fell open and Kris couldnt resist kissing away the expression.
