MM... Had steak for dinner, and was inspired to make my blue cheese dressing to go along as dipping and/or for the side salad.
I have never been the biggest fan of blue cheese, but this dressing is perfect and I could eat it all day long.
1/2 c sour cream
1/2 c mayo (I use low fat)
1/2 c blue cheese crumbles (the younger the cheese, the less intense the flavor)
1 tbs milk
juice of 1/2 small lemon
1 tsp white wine vinegar
1 cloves garlic, minced (or 1/4 tsp garlic powder)
small handful cilantro, finely chopped
a couple of sprigs of dill, finely chopped
salt and pepper to taste
