Can I just say how unbelievably frustrating it is to watch the Twilight movies when you're Team Jacob? Yes, I downloaded Twilight: New Moon out of sheer boredom. Can't sleep? Watch a ridiculous vampire movie. I've been laughing through most of it when I haven't been objectifying Taylor Lautner.

Why would you be confused over which one to pick? WHY ( Read more... )

I don't like how Jacob changes by the third film though. He goes from being concerned unrequitedly-loving friend into trying to force himself on Bella, and that's just not of the good. I mean, I get that he's frustrated, but his major attraction is how much she can trust him, and then they go and ruin that as well. As an aside, I wonder if I'd think the 'love-story' element of the film was so disturbing if there wasn't a Jacob there acting normal and being a perfect match for Bella. If Edward was the only option, maybe it wouldn't seem so messed up? Huh... The more I think about it, the less sense I make.

Maybe Rosalie could join in? Nah, I think she'd have a lot of contempt for Jacob just because he's a wolf. Unless... I think you bunnied me *hides*. I love Rosalie for that same reason! Although, I also love Alice, and she's wierdly nice to Bella.

Yes, Ed never tries to be something he isn't either. He's kept his accent and his personality and he's not ashamed of it. But then, as you say, he also knows how to sell himself, as in, when to scrub up and make a good impression. I love how cheeky he is as well *sighs*. ♥

Ew, really? That's balls. Way to ruin a good character. It's possible. If there wasn't a choice put there, it might seem perfectly normal, but I'd probably still be what-the-fucking it. Twilight is just too ridiculous for me to get invested in, and I've always been more of a werewolf fan in general. XD

She could! But I agree, I think she'd hate Jacob on principal. Add in stealing her boyfriend, and it doesn't look so good. HAHA, did I? Oops. I love Alice 'cause she's so quirky. Her personality is fantastic, and Ashley Green does an amazing job.

Yes, exactly. Ed's charming in the way that he doesn't put on a show. He'll clean himself up and make himself pretty, but he doesn't put on a sparkling new personality to go with it. He's still him. Definitely. I do love that about him as well. Oh Ed. ♥
