There's this magazine/flyer that comes out four times a year from Huntington Beach called "The Sands" which lists all the community sponsored activities - I take my yoga classes through it, but there's lots of other activities as well. Anyhow, on the inside front page they have an advertisement for the Fourth of July activities, including the traditional fireman pancake breakfast & parade down Main Street. And, of course, the fireworks. Well it looks like they've decided to move the fireworks spectacle back to where it belongs: over the ocean [woohoo]. They did it year before last & it was splendid.
I really should try to organize a barbecue/walk to the beach to watch the fireworks night at my place. Anyone want to come down to the beach on a Tuesday afternoon/evening?
