WHYWHYWHY- everything back to square 1!
Well, guess what.
The mediator's office called. CJ's mom called their office and told them that she changed her mind on the whole thing. The agreement is a legally binding one. She will have to contest it in court. Lee immediately called her. She said her PSYCHIATRIST told her that it's in CJ's best interest to stay with her. That it would be sooo traumatic for him to have to change schools... though she thought it was no biggie for CJ to change schools last year when she didn't want to cough up a few bucks for him to take the bus across town to the school he had been going to before their last move... and the woman has recently talked of moving to not one but TWO nearby towns, both of which moves would cause CJ to have to change schools! The conversation got nowhere.. she had decided that she now completely disagrees with everything she agreed to less than a week ago. Lee made sure she was aware that the agreement is legally binding and that he will not relent.
So, we will need to engage a lawer tomorrow. We know who we want. She's supposed to be great in these matters.
WHYWHY does she have to do this? She is making it soo much harder for everyone.. and there is absolutely no way she is going to come out ahead! Does she live in a fantasy land? In the land of denial? I hate to think what she is going to put CJ through when the time finally comes for him to come here. Will he hate Lee, if he winds up literally having to pull him from her arms while she screams? I can see her doing it...
