I love the B-52's, too! While "Love Shack" isn't my favourite song of theirs, this is one of my favourite videos! I mean -- come on! RuPaul, and Sarah in the tub, and Kate's wild dancing and outfits, and Fred looking so much like Clinton Kelley it's scary, and I LOVE the fact that Fred Just Can't Sing and they don't CARE!!!

O_O I never noticed that until you mentioned it. Though Kelly wouldn't be caught DEAD in Fred's clothing, oh no he wouldn't. (Has a very well-worn copy of "Freakin' Fabulous" on the shelf -- how to look good AND make killer Hollandaise sauce, the man is multitalented!)

I think even before I realized you were an artist, I knew who you were on LJ because of your positive energy. There are people whose LJ user IDs just make me start smiling when I see them, because I know whatever they are going to say (or share) will be insightful and... bubbly!
Then I discovered your art, and I *love* artists whose work is distinctively theirs, and it's so true of you. And like your LJ comments themselves, your art is *colorful* and joyful and memorable.
Wow, thank you! Lately I've been sticking with more positive fandom circles, where it's easier to be happy and bubbly. I try to avoid the negative!Nancys and just hang out in my happy bubble. :)
