A lot of finger pointing has been going around in the US lately, but let's try to put this in perspective. Six people, not in the spot light, just normal, everyday people, lost their lives on January 8, 2011, 14 others were injured. We should remember that next time we're pointing fingers. Let's not turn this into a political battle.

Shouldn't people in power, people who we are supposed to trust to make good decisions and keep us safe, be held to a higher standard than the rest of us? Or, if not higher, at least the same standard. It's a bit terrifying to think that a police officer can abuse someone, have it caught on tape and not have criminal charges placed against them.
