So I pampered myself with a new pearl and rose gold necklace and kimono inspired wrap.  I got a $60 bottle of Alien body lotion by Mugler, soaked my feet in hot water, and took a clonazepan so that I can go to bed early.

I was cleaning out part of the basement the other day and I found a Polaroid from my 8th grade graduation ceremony.

I realized how old I was then because I was having a nostalgic moment for the bad makeup style of the '90s: pale, pale face and dark, dark lipstick.

My favorite part thus far has been Chapter 6, where Nami, wearing her wedding kimono, walks about the inn at twilight so that "the artist" might see it as he previously requested when he first met her.  I think I enjoy it because it seems like something I would do.  Apparently, Kusamakura doesn't have a plot...that doesn't bother me; plot in this ( Read more... )

I am being honored with a formal dinner because I won a scholarship.  Everyone else who won a scholarships will also attend and we will all meet our benefactors.  I need a formal dress.  I've found a few that I like.  I already have the necklace and shoes, now I just need a black dress.  Here are some things that I've liked:
