For months now I've been saying that this comm hasn't known how to get back to the dark roots that people like you and telera established a few years back. This is going to teach us all how to do it again.

That is very true. And if you only have one and never the other it gets boring. It's all about finding the golden mean. I just have Beckett somewhat-rape-but-not-really Mercer every once and a while and consider it even. Mercer usually gets revenge via blood sucking or fucking other people and annoying his master.

They're cute regardless of what's happening.

I tend to just have all my characters going through existentialist crises without realizing that they're having one. That or some form of PTSD, Survivor's guilt, or other forms of slight/not-so-slight insanity.

I may write one where Beckett finds Mercer in Bedlam. It would explain a lot. :D

Well I've written two Mercer/Will - my second one is done I'm just not in the right head space to reread and edit it. xD

There's been a vague plot floating around in my head for some months now. I find insanity fascinating, and the supposed "treatment" of it even more so thus I find whatever chance I get to write about it.
