TICKETS! TO HAUNTED BARN! OH YEEAAAA! Hahaha
Sooo the gerbils, Bianca & Johanna, are pregnant as hell. Johanna is a bit further along... but they both look huge and feel like they're ready to pop! It's kind of exciting. I got them three weeks ago today [I think] and they usually give birth at 26 days... so they seriously are due any day now. Ahh!
So I'm excited about Christmas coming. Apparently Illinois doesn't want me to experience Autumn, so I'll just look forward to the Holidays! And tofurky on Thanksgiving will be fun. And Christmas music and holiday products [LUSHHH!] and egg nog and mistletoe <3
And then after Christmas we're planning a visit for New Years/January up to see the in-laws in Ontario! Annddd some of Bradley's friends in Niagara Falls and Toronto. Should be amazing! And then in the late winter/spring we'll be visiting Florida [Bonita Springs and Orlando!] to visit my Grandpa, La Amistad people, and DISNEY WORLD! Thank god for PTO ;)
Also, Cristin brought me over to Waubonsee to get all of my stuff planned for spring semester! I got my 'X Number' [LMAO Cristin], figured out my classes, and got a bunch more information I'll need. I have to go back a few more times to get everything squared away [actual enrollment on November 2nd]... and to attempt testing out of three of the eight prereqs. It would be GREAT if I could cut three whole classes out! That would mean going full time in the spring, part time in the summer, and then starting the nursing program in AUGUST of 2010 instead of JANUARY of 2011! A whole semester earlyyy!
I'm really excited to go back to school. After my BNATP class and starting as a CNA, I realy feel like this is where I'm supposed to be. My mind is eager for the challenge. And I can't wait to buy... A BACKPACK! Hahaha. Or maybe I'll get something more age appropriate?
Oh, and to all of the DOWNERS who've been giving me BS about my plans:

Thank you VERY much! I've had a few bitches decide to message me about how I shouldn't get so excited about becoming a nurse... because there is a '2 year wait'. Yea, WRONG. Why do people always feel they need to put a downer on others when they have a good thing going? Because they're bored? Pathetic? Plain old mean? Ew!
--Anyway. So all of this stuff is totally great! The only thing that sucks lately is night shift. Could you imagine 5 days a week of 11-7am shifts?! Ugh. It's terrible! I know I was offered a 5-day position during the day... but I'm considering taking a 3-day position instead. They get bonuses and whatnot [because you have to do a double every weekend]... and the monthly pay is actually MORE than what I make as a 5-day. I know, makes no sense. Soooo less work and more pay? I'm in. Especially with school coming up!
