(no subject)
Fall TV is here. It seem so strange that it is has started up again. It seems that I just barely finished watching the stuff from last year. Stargate Universe has started up. It is interesting and it will be fun to see where they do with it. I know that it is certainly different from anything else that we have seen so far. We shall see what they do. I have seen the opening and the first one. We shall see what happens from there. I'm still trying to finish up Fringe from last year and have not finished that yet. I hope to do that soon and start on this year. Heroes has been so so for me this year. I'm not into it yet. We shall see what happens, but not sure if I'll keep up with it. I have so much recorded to watch that I almost have a lack of wanting to watch in. I finished the National Park series and I did end up enjoying it. I'm not sure I would sit through it again, but if it were on I might watch it again.
I have not been reading much. I have been reading the Girls of Ames and Blood Rites. I'm hoping to finish one of them by next week. I have lots in the to read pile that I need to get to. Some of which has been recommended at book club that I have not read yet but have. So my hope is by next time I have some of them read. I do enjoy reading just can't figure out why I have not read as much. I need to get back to taking time to reading.
Book club last night was good. I enjoyed going. I got to eat some food before hand and had a nice time. It was fun to read about the books others have been reading. It did make me think again about getting a sony reader or something similar. I do love paper back books but the lack of space and money to buy some of them is not great. I did like the kindle that I have seen, but not sure about it yet. It is a lot of money and yet I know I can get the occasional free books that I would like to read. I'll just have to see what I do. It is a big expense to start but might be better in the long run. I will not be getting as much hard back books. If someone has a thought about either let me know.
Fall is really here, and so was the snow this morning. I'm glad that I got out my coat last night. Now it will be a busy few days getting the house ready for the winter cold. I can't believe it is here already. When did it decide to do this in October. Not that I don't mind the snow. I'm not a cold liking person, but I do like the snow. Yes I know odd, but there it is. I was just not ready for it this year. We shall see what the rest of the year is like.
We are looking into getting the windows fixed in the house. It is another repair that has to happen. UGH. In other things the people should be calling today about the couch. They told us 2 to 3 business days. Today is day 3. I'm guessing that we will be calling on Monday. I just hope that in a few weeks I have a new couch. That is really what I want. It will be nice to have something normal happening again. Just not sure when that would be. Also someone came to look at the basement and well they can't say what is causing it. Not to happy about that. I just want one thing that is a known thing.
