Birthdays and holidays

Okay, so in my last entry I said my birthday was coming up. It has now past, so thought I'd do the birthday briefing thing…

Having my birthday on Easter Sunday this year meant that I got lots of chocolate too. One day last week I took my last Easter egg and bunny that I personally couldn't face eating and put it on the bench in the kitchen. If you put something on our kitchen bench someone else will come along take it and eat it. I just hope that there is someone else around here that isn't as sick of chocolate as I am and eat it.

This year all I asked for my birthday was money as I wanted to buy myself a new I'pod, and thought money would be the best option anyway. (Especially for those people that hate going out to the shops to go shopping for birthday present. Hehe!) So, I got lots of money, and a few other things, a few lollies, clothes, bits of jewellery, a bag, charm for my charm bracelet, and a few other bits and pieces.

WE had some of the family over for a barbecue lunch on Sunday afternoon. Then my uncle, auntie, cousin and cousin's friend picked me up on Sunday night and took me to another auntie and uncle's house, as my two little cousins there, aged six and three, wanted to have a party for me. It was fun! WE had party food: party pies, sausage roles, Frankforts and even fairy bread! I haven't had fairy bread for years! My parents had a few friends over, so when I got home I spent some time with them, then pretty much did my own thing for an hour or so, before going to bed.

It was a great birthday. Pretty quiet but good fun. I caught up with a lot of my family and some friends, which is always good!

I have been trying to get an I'pod, but I can't seem to find one that will support Rockbox anywhere near me. WE have come up with a few ideas of what we could do here and there, but nearly every idea is quickly proven impossible. OH well, keep on trying I guess! As my friend said the other day, "have faith."

School goes back tomorrow. Like I always say at the end of holidays, I am looking forward to seeing everyone again, but I love the holidays and would rather they didn't have to end. I have had good holidays though. I did quite a few fun things. I, along with four other friends, went ice skating, which was a lot of fun. I have never been ice skating before. I didn't have the right technique, but it was still a lot of fun. I have caught up with a few friends, slept in, went out for lunch and did a few other things. All in all it has been a good holiday.

This entry wasn't very well written, and it is pretty rushed. But it is an entry!!!
