Anything and everything

It has been almost a month since my last post, so thought I better get myself together and write another one.

A fair bit has happened since my last post. One of the most exciting things that has happened would be that I went to see Kelly Clarkson in concert last Tuesday with a friend of mine, her mum and my mum. It was the first concert I have ever been to, and it was awesome! The support acts were great too. First Mandy More came out, she sang for half an hour or so. Then on her last song, she told the crowd that she had a surprise for us. She said that she had just recorded a song in Perth with a friend of hers, and that he was there to sing it with her for us. She said, "Please welcome a Mr. Ben Lee," to which nearly everyone in the crowd screamed! After that song they left the stage. The house lights came on, so a lot of people (including Brooke, Deb (Brooke's mum,) my mum and I) got up and went out. After about ten minutes we heard the music start up again, so we went back in to sit down. As we were walking down the stairs to our seats a song I happen to like began, Me Love by Sean Kingston. I thought it was just some music they were playing while we waited for Kelly to come out, but after me love finished the person on stage began to talk and I realized it was Sean Kingston himself. I had no idea he was a support act too. Sean and his brother performed for just over half an hour. Sean managed to get the crowd pretty excited, and in one song he asked everyone to get their "cell phones out and wave them from side to side. It was during that song while everyone was waving their phones around that Brooke's mum Deb had a blonde moment. It wasn't until just after the song that Deb realized she had been waving her phone around with it facing her, so anyone in front of her if they had looked at her would have seen her waving her arms in the air, because the lights on the phone were facing Deb instead of forward. WE all had a good laugh at Deb after the show. There was a gap of about forty-five minutes after Sean went off stage. But finally Kelly Clarkson came out. She performed for about an hour and a half. Then it was over. I felt like I wanted it to go on for ages, I was having that good a time.

We couldn't believe how expensive all the merchandise was, but on the way out of Rod Laver Arena there were people selling Kelly Clarkson t-shirts, for only $10, so Brooke and I both got one of those. They look almost exactly like one of the t-shirts they were selling in Rod Laver, so no one would be able to tell it wasn't the proper Kelly Clarkson t-shirt.

Deb's blonde moment during the concert reminded her of a blonde moment she had a few years ago, mum and I couldn't stop laughing about it when she told us. It was just before Deb and her husband split up. Terry, her husband, told her oldest daughter Skye that when Terry died, he wanted a photo of his three girls (Deb, Skye and Brooke) in the coffin with him. When Skye told Deb that, Deb said, "If he thinks I am getting in that coffin with his dead body just to get a photo taken, he has another thing coming!"

I hope that I will go to a lot more concerts now. AS I said before, Kelly Clarkson's was the first I had ever been to. I think I will go to a lot more though, obviously there is Matchbox 20 next month, and just yesterday a friend asked me if I would go to Simpleplan's concert with her if they come here. Also, tonight, I said to another friend that we should go to a concert together soon.

Since my last entry, I went to a surprise sixteenth birthday party for Brooke, a friend stayed over for the night and I was sick, amongst a lot of other things. WE sent my Braillenote off to be serviced again, and that got back yesterday. I think I have all my textbooks now too, which is a big relief. I just hope I have all the chapters as I need them. I have been pretty stressed at school lately, and I'm only in year nine!!! But hopefully things will get better now, and after all it is the holidays soon.

It is also coming up to my birthday! Yaaaaaaay!!!!!!!! Speaking of birthdays, it is linlet's birthday on Sunday, so happy birthday for then!!!!! After my phone died in mid January I lost all my birthdays that I had in my calendar. So if your birthday has past between January and now and I didn't wish you a happy birthday I'm sorry! I'm pretty good with remembering birthdays normally, but I will, soon, get around to putting them all back in my calendar again, and backing them up somewhere else too. I remember in grade two when my brother and I forgot it was our mum's birthday, and even after a few hints mum dropped we didn't remember. It wasn't until… um…. Well to be honest I can't remember what finally reminded us that it was her birthday.

One thing I have meant to do in my entries is explain what a Braillenote and their thumb keys are, and what swish is for those people that don't know. I mentioned those things in an entry somewhere along the way and decided that I should probably explain what they were, even though most of the people that read this will probably know anyway. Okay, to find out what a Braillenote is, go . If you're interested enough you should be able to find out what the thumb keys are there. You can find out a bit about swish here: .

I have been playing Miriani a lot too, but I will talk about that probably in my next entry. If you don't know what Miriani is and you want to, have a look at , and hopefully that will tell you a bit about it. jdx_random, trek_west, psycho_rabbit and beccatamagotchi play it too.

This has turned out to be a really long entry; I did kind of expect that though. So I am going to post this now and just hope I don't think, oh damn, I should have said that just after I post it...
