(no subject)
Hello Dear ones! Just a quick update cos I don't have alot of news. Last week was hectic as usual, but I was able to enjoy some...dinner out with my daughter and her boyfriend and Friday, lunch with the Spouses Club from my Hubby's new job. Did I mention he moved on to another unit? Yeah, his Commander liked his work, so he placed him in a broke area to work some miracles. lol He's good with it. Anyway, each unit has a Spouses Club; a bunch of ladies getting together for fund and morale raisers. Its boring and alot of work, but its expected. Next Tuesday, I'll be packing cookies for lil cupids to deliver on Valentines day, then I'll be helping with the new baby baskets of goodies and then, I have to come up with some welcome packets for the newcomers. Whew! On top of my usual stuf, it can be very tiring.
Today I did laundry, housework and then spent most of the day working on our taxes. I was so frustrated with H&R Taxcut! It is soooooo dang slow! But we are not coming out too bad with a lil chunk of a refund after we combine the state and federal returns. ;)
My daughter has had me giggling all evening; she has a bad ear infection, but it is not affecting her sense of humor...Oh NO! lol For instance, when she had the thermometer in her mouth, she was imitating an old person, cane and all, when she was trying to ask me if the coffee was old. *giggles*
It must be the oldies we are listening to...they are so fun! OH! Now, that song is on the radio...you know, The Name Game; the one where you take your name and sing rhymes with it...
