I had a really tough time allowing myself to commit to another person again. When I started thinking about transitioning over two years ago, all the resources, time and energy I had were needed to wrap my head around me being trans* and all the stuff that came with it. I did just fine by myself.

Finally I feel like I'm making some progress. This week was like a small marathon. I had a few doctors appointments and all of them went pretty smoothly.

One thing that's bugging me a lot is that I could have avoided so many years of being sad and depressed if I had only been exposed to more information about trans identity and transgenderism when I was younger.

The first word that comes to my mind when I have to describe myself is patient. Usually that is a very accurate description of me but, oh boy, do I NOT feel patient at the moment, not AT ALL.
