Well, it has started. Our first snowstorm of the year. We've had a couple of light amounts, but they were only 1-2 cm. This one is supposed to be 10-20 cm. Since the storm made landfall over Baja California, we have had lots of warning. All the municipal plow trucks are loaded full of salt, and drivers are standing by. The neighbor retrieved the widow's snow blower to his own garage so he can get the blowing started as soon as there's enough to plow. Of course, weather forecasting (guessing?) being what it is we could end up with considerably more or less than forecast. Or the warm air from Baja could melt everything the day after it falls. I assume that
Lord_Bobbit has already had some and that
isilondo will get it in a couple of days.
In other activity, our prototype at work is coming together and the software crunch is really heating up. I'm also having SQL query difficulties - not getting what I expected and not sure how to get it. I've managed to solve some already, though, so I just keep digging. And our new website for
FVUUF is coming close to release, with some tasks I still have to do. Lots of balls to juggle at the same time!
