Return of the Sewing Machine
So I picked it up last night. Yah!! I'm very happy. Sure, it cost $150 dollars and was scolded ever so slightly for whatever I did to the poor bobbin casing, but I have the machine back!
While waiting (impatiently) I cut out everything for the Cthluhu hat, so it just needs to be sewed and stuffed. I plan to do that tonight and (hopefully) drop it off tomorrow night. Still not sure if i'll have time to finish my costume. Friday might be a very late night.
I also went slightly crazy during my last visit to Jo-Anns and bought WAY too many $1 patterns. Actually, I would have bought more, but someone had already cleaned out the Simplicity historical patterns sections. Grr... If I actually finish my costume, I might try to find a few more Jo-Anns and do some more $1 pattern shopping before the sale ends this weekend.
