24 Hour Costume Update

This is so not going to happen tonight. :)
So I have mostly finished the over-skirt. It's a gored skirt with alternating black and white panels. It took longer than expected because I decided to use a self-enclosed seam. I tried a flat-felled first, but it warped a little with the fabric, so I declared that seam the "back" and did the rest as french seams. I attached and finished the waistband. All that remains is to add hook and eyes and hem.
Now the bigger challenge -- the petticoat. The skirt body is finished. I just need to attach the ruffles. Actually, I need to make and attach the ruffles. Hrmm. I think I'll still try to do the first row tonight, just to get some idea of how tough it is. I have three evenings left to try and finish them.
