random shit of the day

i don't write in this thing enough, i don't think. i don't write anywhere enough these days, actually. maybe i should work on that.

i found this thing Burger King is doing: http://whoppersacrifice.com/
basically. you nix 10 of your friends and get a free Whopper. i'm not going to try and be cute by pretending to decipher some conspiracy behind it, or making a big deal out of some sort of vain motives for forcing people to choose between social networking friends and free food, but i know for a fact there are too many names popping up in my news feed i don't recognize. so this is the perfect example to weed them out and get free food i wouldn't normally pay for, or even eat unless it was free.

this whole economy crunch is really salting my game. everyone i work for is cutting back. seems like every one i know is looking for a job. i think it's time to start playing the lottery again.

also. some of you may or may not remember a little movie i tried to make a couple years ago about Travis Archer and I sneaking into Bonnaroo. If not, basically, we did that. But we failed, by and large, but i took what footage I had into making it into a trailer of sorts. Basically, one of my less creative choices was the inclusion of AC/DC's "Highway to Hell". well, 2 years after posting this thing, apparently AC/DC caught wind of this (probably due to a whopping 1700 views in two years' time), complained to YouTube and so YouTube has disabled the audio on the video. Now, this thing isn't all that great to begin with, but i think even if i wanted to fix it, i dunno if i could. I don't think i still have the original file anymore. So, while it was a nice keepsake highlighting the finer moments of an era i'd otherwise like to forget, i'm just going to have to scrap it. Thank you AC/DC and YouTube for ruining my memories.
