you hijack my heart.
I had a wonderful remedial massage this evening (one of my vertebrae is out of line). Went out in trackies and a Superman t-shirt (I usually wear tight jeans and pretentious tops, so this was a big deal for me). My neighbour tended to his lawn so all day long I could smell freshly-mown grass - is it possible to fall in love with a scent? Spent the day watching Queer as Folk (thanks to the gorgeous ombu_tree)and exploring the forgotten depths of my music collection (which involved much singing at the top of my lungs - I'm sure my neighbours appreciated that!). If that exhibition of study-avoidance wasn't quite comprehensive enough, I had a good time f-listing today - largely because darling cactupuss is back!
Life is so very brilliant.
On Tuesday:
Random guy in car: Hey, excuse me? Have you ever modelled?
Me (swivelling around with guarded expression): Uhm. No?
Random guy: Would you be interested in doing some modelling for my label?
Me: ... I'm sorry?
He turned out to be some local designer who's just starting to get his ads in magazines, and he needed models for this boyfriend-style line. I told him that I had zero experience and close to zero availability, yet he insisted on examining my face after he'd evidentally already appraised my figure. He took my number but never ended up calling me back.
Life is so very strange.
I know that I have approximately 582364 fics to read - many of them written by you f-listers of mine! - and I swear that I will get around to them eventually. Uni is insanely hectic, so I only really have time to keep up with your personal entries. I'm sorry for being a crappy fic-reader, but I'm working on it. And that's a promise.
