so I remembered you saying something about update?!
And lo and behold! Another lovely looong post for me to comment on~ ^_^. (I am sneaking onto LJ only to comment here you know, because I am doing my practical reports, honest.)
Un. But congrats! You got a JOB! =D Why didn't you mention something earlier =O. Ah, tutoring, I don't think I could ever tutor, just a confidence thing. But I think you would be a very good tutor - your grammar nazi-ing (in the best possible way) will be of great use and while I don't know anything about your maths skills, I'm sure you are well equipped. =) Go Ish! Teach your kiddies! (It does make you appreciate teachers much more doesn't it, when you realise how much work is involved - my friends keep telling me about lesson preps and marking work haha)
Deux. Setting you up eh? ^_^... Well...I don't know what to say, only you said "disinclined to acquiesce to their request"!!!! =D. Pirates for the win!
Trois. Hmmm, never heard of this movie - I'm assuming it's out now? Wrestling isn't exactly what I'm
( ... )
Woah, epic comment. I suppose I should expect no less from you! Ahhh but I didn't mean to drag you away from your reports! It's good to hear that you've started them. I suppose that's why you haven't been floating around LJ as much in recent days?
Well, it's not really a proper job. But it's something. I can no longer call myself unemployed! Yes, I appreciate teachers' hard work so much more now, and it's only been a few days! It's pretty tough, but hopefully I'll end up coping.
I've never been set up with anybody, and I'm not sure I want to. So yes, that particular Pirates quote was rather apt. :) Kudos for knowing where it came from, btw!
Yeah, The Wrestler is out now. Mickey Rourke won the Golden Globe for his performance in it

OHMYGOSH. TELL ME ABOUT IT. I was so pissed off last night. Not even our goal could quite quell my frustration. I've been walking around like a zombie all day, and I'm just dreading yet another derby. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh.
I meant your own first-year French, too! Isn't that the kind of thing you do in year 7/8? "My name is..."?
Yeah, I suddenly fall back in love with tennis this time every year - and during Wimbledon, too! This is the best time of year, I think. I'm not much of a clay-court person (because Federer isn't, LOL).
I hope there's something deeper to my dreams! The fact that they're so literal is really quite boring. But hey, at least there's been some progress - before, I couldn't even remember them!
(You made me fall for Joe, so this is how I now spend my time. I'm actually considering using one of these icons myself - wtf?! I never thought the day would come!)
Ohhhh, EE! The good old days. I didn't mind my EE actually. It was all the other shit that tortured me - the subjects themselves, TOK, trying to get Community Service hours! "EE due tomorrow? ...Let's go clubbing." Ha, yes. I got about three years worth of socialising done in my final year. Best of luck with it all. I hope you're enjoying it, anyway - and that you'll come out of it feeling learned and superior. ;)
Is it for a good cause? I thought it was just advertising for Nike? :D
LOL, I found TOK so pointless. Hopefully, years down the track, all that shit about non-sequiturs and weird paradigms will come in handy.
I took Maths, English and Physics HL, and French, Economics and Chemistry SL. It killed me. Handy tip: Learn all your coursework, you know, during the course itself. I left everything until study break and was thus rather screwed. When are your finals?
Ohh, it's good to hear that you've found Samsung to be reliable! My old LG was rather... temperamental. :) While I don't plan to shower my new one, it's a relief to know that should I accidentally do so, it shall survive.
LOL - a good mood and vodka make for a lethal combination. And (un)fortunately, most of my friends are far too conservative to allow me to do anything particularly insane!

But ahh, I cannot help but notice that your icon is blurry. And thus cannot help but share the following, should you like them:
