~deeply moved~ i don't think i've ever seen such an angry casey. i LIKE it.

you did the RIGHT thing. the bugbutts behind were just ensconced in their metal houses, and had no contact outside this supposed protection. (and, were probably assholes as well, but i do try to sometimes give a benefit of a doubt).

i'm glad she's okay, and i hope it wasn't too serious that she needed a stitch or a cast? some heavyduty easing of bruising may be needed!

I have the American nurse practitioner on my speed dial (I'm a mom.) After she managed to get off to the side of the road, I pulled over. I called the NP and had the biker talk with the NP so that all the right questions were asked and answered. I noticed that the biker was shaky, which was a perfectly normal sign of shock, but I didn't get the impression that it was going to get worse. Others from our organization stopped, too, and they had vehicles better suited to getting the bike somewhere if she really couldn't start it, so I and my carpool partner left the scene. We were attracting a lot of attention and I was starting to think there'd be a rubber-necking accident, too. The lone biker chick in Uzbekistan surrounded by foreigners with special license plates was apparently a sight to see.

No stitches, no cast, just achy and scrapey.

I think you've seen angry Casey before, but usually in defense of Casey kids. Cf, "I'm a mom" above.

Thanks.

It's just . . . I just. . .OOOOOHHHHH. . .. I can't STAND it when people pull stuff like that. Gee -- I made them all of TWO WHOLE MINUTES late (if that) to wherever they were going.

Yes, it's like those people who race to get through lights before they turn red (or after...).

What is the rush? Unless there's a woman having a baby in the back seat, surely a minute or two can't make that much difference?

i'm glad just achey and scrapey.

LOL yes, of course i have. but even then, i sense the "rational" Casey. not full-out rage! it must be the full irritation side of it, since if it involved Casey kids, she'd be going straight for her amazonian armour.
