One Minute:
For one minute I want to be held so that it feels like eternity;
I want to feel what its like to fight for love and be swept off my feet
For one minute I want to taste the silver lining of a storm cloud
and chase that haunting fear back to where it came from
For one minute I want see what its like to fly;
to watch the busy world below as it crumbles
For one minute I want to be drenched in southern rain
and be knocked over by natures force
For one minute I want to taste the lips of the one;
I want to be broken hearted because of the one I love
For one minute I want to feel the glory of a touchdown
and be a missionary to a third world child
For one minute I want to chat with the brother I never laid eyes on;
to shake hands with a civil war soldier
For one minute I want re-live when I was 6;
I want to stand center stage
For one minute I want to walk the edge of the grand canyon;
to peak at my purpose hand written by god
For one minute I want to step into a dream
and come face to face with my nightmares
For one minute I want to take a risky plunge;
I want to admit all of my faults
For one minute I want to sit back and sip on tea as the sun sets
and walk barefoot into the ocean as stars shoot across the midnight sky
For one minute I want to confess all of my secrets;
to be pushed to my physical limits
For one minute I want to uncover an earthly mystery
and step into a hostile land
For minute i want to be all that i can be for you;
to make everything ok
For one minute I want capture the inevitable
and for one minute I want to live.
