arise oh nest of wonder,
awake the boring beast,
whose heart has shrunk to nothing
in a barren border heap
the mundane turns to madness,
it cracks her hollow form,
her tears are so expensive,
they split before she’s born
dazzle like a hot cake
shrinking from its pan,
attention paid but soon forgotten
in a world that’s way too bland
