For the past two years, a friend has sent me a potted amaryllis bulb as a Christmas present. The one she sent me in December is getting ready to bloom now. So basically, Christmas in March, lol.
You can see the stalk and bud in the middle pot on the right.
The big plant is a ponytail palm. I've had it for at least 15 years!
The pot behind the middle pot is from last year. I tried to get it to bloom again, but it didn't work. Just a single, pretty green leaf.
The pot in front I started months ago, but it also didn't bloom. I cut the leaves off because it got top heavy and flopped over (the leaves will grow back). See the tiny bulb next to it? It was growing on the side of the bigger bulb. I had to remove it, because it would've been below the soil level. No roots, I didn't know if it would survive. I stuck it in the soil, and it grew some nice leaves.
