So I've been in PC limbo for the last several months. I gave up on updating this because, every ten minutes, my computer would spontaneously crash. It's great trying out new online games until the thing dumps on you back to a blue screen of death, which, when I first upgraded to XP, I was told didn't exist.


VERSUS

Problem no more. We found out that the problem was that I put a juggernaut vid card with a pikachu processor and told them to play nice. So a 2.8 gig Intel and ram upgrade later, I dust my hands, throw the PC-100 in the "Parts" box and sigh contentedly as I wander Vana'Diel, Britannia, and a few other old-school stomping grounds without misery.

Going to Seattle in a couple of hours. Murphy's law says that every friend I have out there is away, busy, working, just broke up, had a family member perish, or other bad timing, so we're just gonna see what happens and book a hotel if we need to.

Peter's not replying to me. That usually means things are going well with Tyler and that he's in relationship underground, for those of you who know what I'm talking about. David and Joey broke up but are still living together, so the tension's a little too high for company at the moment. It's a little disheartening, because I'm now back down to two gay couples that I know in long-term-relationships longer than my last one.

I've thought about stopping to visit Anne or Joshua, one a shadow from my past and the other an amalgamation of past and awkward present, but it seems too long, and I'm sure the Heraclitus clich
