I've gotten a lot of requests from the liberal media to give them an interview, but I'm not here to impress them with my ability to "inform the American public" about my positions on "important issues." I'm here to serve you, the Republican Party! So I thought I'd take the opportunity to answer some questions the real people of America have been asking me.
How do you pronounce your last name?
I'm so glad you asked! It's "Pay-lin."
Your children have such interesting names! How did you come up with them?
Let's see . . . Bristol and Willow are named after their great-grandmothers. My son Track and my daughter Piper are named after
the most popular recreational activity in our hometown of Wasilla, Alaska. With Trig, I've started naming my children after subjects they will never pass.
What are "small town" values?
Small town values means doing what's right and putting God and country first. If you have small town values, it means you get what real Americans are talking about around their kitchen tables and backyards, and you don't get liberal elitism or
sickle-cell anemia.
What are the greatest blessings God has given you?
Well, of course I have to say that God has blessed me with my husband and my beautiful children, and Trig. Above all, God has blessed me with the opportunity to support John McCain, the last great American war hero. While our opposition was fingerpainting in Hawaii, John McCain was singlehandedly winning the Vietnam War. Even though he was imprisoned by the Viet Cong, he defeated them by only crying that one time. He achieved great acts of heroism and faith more than 40 years ago, so I can think of no one who's better able to handle the challenges of today. His story is the American story, and I am proud to serve with him.
