Now, don't get me wrong, there are aspects about the job itself that I don't enjoy. It doesn't take long to get incoming phonecall burnout. Particularly when you are dealing with self absorbed, salesbabies who want what they want and will whine and throw fits in various attempts to manipulate the call's recipient into breaking rules or pushing someone else aside to favor them. That part of my job I would happily do without. But, I think I am fortunate to work with the nicest and most appreciative group of people I've ever met.
My boss is a Goddess. No one can convince me otherwise. She should be on a circuit training managers on how to manage their staff. She truely believes in each one of us and cares about our daily lives as much as how well we do our jobs. It will be a tough moment at the end of this year when she retires from day to day work so that she can volunteer in her community as well as enjoying her other full time job of being the wife of our CEO. That's alright, though, she's leaving another Goddess in her place.
Speaking of our CEO. What a wonderful man. He's a man of great character and of excellent moral fiber. It is inconcievable that he would be caught in any kind of scandal or bad behavior. He really shines in the way he handles everything that is thrown his way. He spends time (of which he has very little) visiting with us every day just to make sure we are feeling well and doing great. He is the kind of boss that is always cheering on the troops.
I see all of the greatness of our management team reflected in most of the staff and could go on and on sighting the qualities of each person I work with. I would, in fact, be hard pressed to find reasons to complain. What a refreshing thing to be a part of something I like and believe in and to feel well liked and believed in myself.
