On Monday, if I do say so myself, I was made of awesome.  After work, I bought groceries, made my dinner, and then kicked ass.  I tackled one of my big projects by cleaning out my closet and managing to fit all the Rubbermaid containers holding books that won’t fit in my bookshelves into the closet.   I’m not even going to go into detail about how ( Read more... )

I admit, I'm not a photographer, but I wanted to post pics of my new kitchen prettiness.  Please direct your attention to the lovely items above the kitchen cabinets.  The color choices came from my dishes; they're cobalt blue, orange, yellow, and aqua.  You can't tell from the pictures, but the flour/sugar canisters are cobalt blue.

I’m sure everyone’s seen those annoying bumper stickers that say the owner of the car would rather be golfing/fishing/hiking/drinking/eating brains (sorry, that one’s just for the driving zombies of the world).  Unfortunately, I can’t help but think that my head seems to have had one of those stickers firmly affixed to my forehead today.
