timeliness
So... some good things in the past day:
1) Saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. I was fairly pleased, especially when considering what movie five was like.
2) Chatted with Hiroki on skype.
3) Previous tiff with Kana and Satoosh about the 4th of July weekend (not going to go into details here) has all been aired out. I feel relieved and happy.
4) Satoosh really inspired me today talking about me working in Japan. It made me believe for the first time in a couple months that I could actually do it.
5) Consequently, sent out applications/resumes to some teaching jobs in Japan.
And... some good things for the next few days to come:
1) Teaching demonstration for my methods class, then actually teaching my English for Families class (all on Thursday), then FREEDOM! The four hardest weeks of my summer quarter will be over!
2) Shopping day with Kana Saturday.
3) Dinner party with Thuy, Stephanie and Juan (ISU<3) Sunday.
4) Babysitting PUPPIES all weekend. I will be checking in on Jeremy's puppies, Bandit (husky) and Kiba (aww shit, I am bad at dog breeds), for him while he's at Otakon.
So yeah, I won't be at Otakon this weekend, which sucks. But at least I have some other happiness lined up.

PS. Thanks to Julie, Alina and Erin for your comments. I know if I just stop being emo about it, I can get a job teaching in Japan. I'm just glad I finally went through the effort today of sending out applications again.
