Suffering - Part II

Early in January, Mrs. Weasley had everyone over to The Burrow for dinner, including Fleur and Hermione.  All the Weasley’s were present except for Charlie who was still in Romania, and Ginny, who had gone back to Hogwarts the previous week.

While Ginny was home for Christmas, Harry could no longer avoid ( Read more... )

So, so sad! Sheesh, break my heart why dontcha?

Have I said recently that I want to marry your brain? Nothing fancy, just a quiet ceremony. Friends and family. Tasteful.

- My brain might be more trouble than it's worth :P, but that has to be one of the nicest compliments I've ever received. Thank you again!

you don't need to go to work and make money... just write for us instead. I'm sure the government or someone would understand and support your lifestyle ;)

and thanks, i love this icon :)

This feels very incomplete to me. Not because it lacks a happy ending, but because it doesn't resolve-- It just sort of stops.

I hope you will give us more, happy or otherwise, and I hope the Trio can work through this to a good relationship again.

I'm glad you think that it's incomplete because that's what it's supposed to feel like. Everything is really up in the air. Pretending like nothing's happened and saying things are going to go back to normal, is not a step toward resolution, it's denial. And denial might work in the short term, but it's bound to make things worse.

I hope to give you more trio too. Thanks for reading!

Welcome back. ^_^

I know what a "bad day" ending looks like, and I completely understand. It's a bit rushed, and the spelling and grammar aren't perfect, but that doesn't mean it wasn't good. Hurty, but good.

I've got a little bit of sniffly feelings going on here.

Thank you! It feels so good to be back. You can thank J.K. for having DH inspire me. It was definitely supposed to feel hurty, but I feel guilty for my torment of Harry. He really does need a happy ending.

I plan to go through and edit it a bit to try and smooth out some of the rough edges. It's times like these I wish I had my own personal beta.

I know it's a month later, but I'd be willing to beta for you, if you're still looking. ^_^

I have a couple of one-shots I'm thinking of writing. They're not trio fics though, but if you're still interested I'd love to have you beta my work.

...but OTOH maybe she wouldn't know how she'd feel unless she tried.
- I agree. I also think that if she thought through it too much, she would never decide to go through with it because she would realize how "wrong" it was.

And I felt like Ron was less reconciled to dropping it than the other two, but even he felt guilty.
- I feel that Ron is a much more complex character than most people give him credit for. I think his guilt may even rival Harry's because Ginny is his sister. I've always thought that Ron and Ginny would be very close siblings because there's only a year age difference between them
