Oh, hi, hello.
It's May. Okay. What? Where have the past four months gone, really? I mean, I know I moved across the country, got settled, and started working, but, okay. May? Seriously? Sure. Okay. That's just nutty.
Um, nothing is going on! It was very stormy here this weekend -- I got to experience my first-ever NC thunderstorm, which made me very happy. Well, first-ever while living in NC thunderstrom. There've been storms when I've visited Michael before. But this was different. It was an 'on my own' first.
Perhaps I'm being far too sentimental.
I'm going to Myrtle Beach on Friday. I have the day off, Michael has no finals, Stephanie has no finals, so Myrtle Beach it is. And then I'm going again less than a month after that. You know, this whole having BEACHES 4 hours away is a pretty good deal. No driving to California where there are far too many people for me to cope with, no 5+ hours stuck in a car... ahhh.
I do, however, miss being 5 hours away from the Vegas. The OC this week sorta made me go 'awww *sniffle*,' but that could also be because it was the freakin' second-to-last show of the season, and I don't know what my Wednesdays will be without it. Dear FX, run a marathon, please. Thanks. Love, Carrie. I'm already saving up for the DVD set.
Okay! I officially don't have anything else to babble on about. Kerri, I will call you back tonight, this weekend was ridiculously busy for me. But I did get your message. And, Sarah, are you still alive?! Check in with me, por favor.
