I am up, still. It's 2:30 in the morning. I have been up since about 2:00 trying to work on my homework. I got extremely, ridiculously, uncharacteristically behind this quarter. Partly because of trying to deal with new private practice crap, dealing with trying to get paid and the legal shit, and just plain being extremely depressed. Because

I'm glad I came back to Live Journal, if only to learn a little something about your life again. I've been gone from here for a long time. Good luck on finishing things on whatever timeline you finish on. I know what a struggle it can be some time. I can't imagine maintaining a private practice at the same time! It was interesting to hear about your little family. I think that's wonderful. You're only 31, so don't worry, you have plenty of time to add more people to your life if you want more people. And like tends to attract like, so I wouldn't be surprised if a person you cared about also fit into your existing family.

Oh, good luck finishing your assignments! I hope you don't keep trying to guilt yourself over how you're doing, though, sometimes shit just happens and if grades have to take a backseat then so be it.

It's good you see you on livejournal again, it's good to hear how you're doing. I am right there with you about the dating thing; just thinking about the effort and time and resources getting out there dating again feels overwhelming sometimes. I'm so happy you've got you're little family, though. :)
