(no subject)
So I guess I should start from Friday?
Went and got lunch with meine Mutti and then went to Laurens..waited around and decorated a bit before we went to get Laurens hair highlighted and cut. By the time we finished that it was already 5!! All of our guests were coming at 6:30 and we still had to go to Kroger to pick up a few things. Well we didnt waste time but we still didnt leave Kroger until 5:30..When we got back Mrs. Kay just told Lauren to go get ready and for me to go down and decorate. :\ So I had to start from scratch..all me and Lauren had done so far was get the food set up. I hung streamers and balloons al over the place. It looked pretty good I guess..it was UGA colors so I liked it. :) Anywho..right as I finished decorating some people already were there..I finished just in the nick of time. haha. Anywho..so Jake got there at 7 but was a little late..so the pizza man came while Jake was still upstairs!! And JAKE opened the door..so Jake's telling the guy hes got the wrong house while Mrs Kay was standing behind him saying hes got the wrong house and trying to hint to him that he really doesnt. It was quite a mess but they pulled it off really well because we scared the crap out of Jake. He had nooo idea. It was soooo funny. So they played pool a bit..then the guys went out and played football while me and Lauren went up to the pool. Later on the guys came up there and we swam for a really long time..it was alot of fun. We managed to get four people on eachothers shoulders and I was on top! It was craaaaazy. haha So anywho..most everybody left after swimming so me and Lauren went downstairs and cleaned up a bit and were finally able to get in the bed about 1. But it wasnt over..I had the best girl talk ever with Lauren till 2 in the morning. I needed it so bad. We got up around 9 cause Lauren had GSA practice. :\ Shes gone to Regionals now since her soccer team won state. Pretty cool.
So that morning me and mom went shopping for dad and I got a cute outfit from American Eagle..lol..I came home and slept a little before it was time to get ready for Atlanta Fest!!!!! We all met at my house (Me, Sarah, Ashley, Chase, and Jordan) and left about 5, stopped at McDonalds and were on our way! Traffic wasnt too bad at all on the way but we had to park reaaaaaaaaalllly far out in the parking lot. Chase, Jordan, Sarah got their tickets and when we got in we went to Superman. Man we waited in line for two hours because the freaking ride kept messing up. I was PISSED because by the time we got out it was time to go to the concert so we only got to ride one ride. Oh well..the concert was well worth it. Casting Crowns is so good in concert. They just finished a new album so they sang some of their new songs and may I say that I will be the first in line for it when it comes out. :) I had so much time just dancing and being crazy at that thing..I was the only one in my section jumping..haha..but I could care less..I went to have fun and praise God so I did. Sometime a girl came and passed out candles to everyone..I knew this was gonna make me cry when we lit those candles but daaang..I woulda figured theyd have someone at the end of each row standing to start lighting the candles but no..Mark was the only one..and he passed to one person in the front row and it was spread from there..it was the most amazing thing ever..because within two minutes the entire place was lit. There was a slight breeze that kept extinguishing everyone's candles but when Mark asked everyone to hold them up the breeze just stopped..it was so cool to feel God's presence right there. I get chill bumps just thinking about it..so yes..I did get some watery eyes..but who wouldnt? It was cool because it was like..different from any other concert Ive been to..it was so cool to know that everyone else there was a believer and there to praise our God. Wow..I loved it and am definitely planning to go back next year.
Church this morning then lunch with some family. I drove home and when I went to open my door to get in I hit my face with the door. :( It hurt soooo ba and my face is kindof swollen..it sucks..lol. Anywho this entry is waaaaay long so Ill end it here loves.
