I am coming to the end of my Christmas vacation.
I am beginning work at Northeastern for co-op tomorrow. I am very excited about money. Very excited.
I have actually had a very pleasant break. No snow (except for last night) and a relatively warm Christmas. Always nice. Christmas itself was nice. My big gift that I got was portable speakers for i-Pod. I got lots of other nice things too.
Things I got:
Clothes
Red Sox Fleece Blanket
Watch face to attach to an Italian charm bracelet
Tinkerbell Sapphire Earrings
Lady and the Tramp salt and pepper shakers
i-Fusion i-Pod speakers
Electric Toothbrush
March of the Penguins
Collectible Miniature Disney plate
Mickey Mouse style pizza cutter
$25 Apple gift card
$100 Apple gift card
Sudoku travel game
$50 Simon Malls gift card
It was a pretty great Christmas. A lot of my presents came from my sister's vacation to Disney World, which was nice too.
On December 28, Chris's parents took us to Connecticut to stay at Foxwoods for his birthday. All in all, I didn't really like the whole gambling thing and I don't think I would go back (except maybe to go to this really cool store with aquarium in it that was at Mohegan Sun, which we stopped at before leaving the next day). I felt like I played a total of 30 minutes over 2 days and lost $110 in that time.
New Year's Eve was pretty uneventful. I stayed home. It was the first year I can remember in a while where I didn't watch the ball drop.
So I'm going back to school today, which will be a relief, but a little sad too. Sometimes it's nice being home, for a while.
