It disgusted me more than anything, to have to come back to this place and walk these streets once more, but I was sent here to perform a duty. My traitor of a cousin, Krevlorneswath, had instilled enough shame upon our Clan to last many centuries, but now that shame must be removed.

I had volunteered to be the one to cross the threshold into this land in search of him. As much as I loathed and despised him, I must put on a mask of treachery and hope I would be able to convince him to return to our land. Once he is back on our soil, or plan will unfold.

A neighboring Clan, the Braukna Clan, has offered a dowry larger than anyone has ever seen to the one family who brings forth a son to marry the daughter of their head Clansman. She is indeed the most vile of creatures, and though her father loves her unconditionally, he knows that many men will not. The dowry has been offered in his hopes that his daughter may find happiness. Though I truly find this impossible, I feel that our Clan will benefit greatly from the payment, seeing as the cows have been freed and we have no hands to do or work.

This is where our own deception comes in. Convincing Krevlorneswath to return for other reasons might be easy, and once we force him to marry into the Braukna Clan, our own shame will be lifted, and we will as well be quite wealthy. After my cousin has been wed, more than likely I predict someone will attempt to kill him, to rid him from us once and for all. But that is not of my concern.

My concern is to find him, and to bring him home. This task will not be hard, as I have mastered my tracking skills. What I must learn to master most of all now, is deceit, for if this is ever going to work, I need Krevlorneswath to believe my reasons that he should return to Pylea.
