It's snowing in Bloomington for the first time this season. Can't say I've really missed the stuff. Can say I am quite grateful for my large scarf collection.
Friday, right before the end of work, I finally, FINALLY settled my car accident claim. I will receive $2700 for my pain and suffering as well as payment of the medical lien owed to Willow's insurance company. The check is halfway between what I demanded and the initial offer, so I shall consider it a successful endeavor. I plan to insert $1000 into a CD or mutual fund, and squander the other $1700 on tech gear and a much-needed vacation. I bounce back and forth between several locations: Seattle, San Francisco, Denver, Vancouver, Berlin, and Convergence 13 in Portland, Oregon. Difficult choice. We'll see.

styossarian (+1 afro), nearly the entirety of Form 30, said goodbye to
corporatepiracy, chomped through a three-hour breakfast with
danielmc, had a burger with my parental units, consumed schnecken and video games with
cristobat, and watched a veritable butt-ton of DVDs with
freeze_etch and co. Failed miserably at art over the weekend--just couldn't muster up the creative energy to paint, and it precipitated almost continuously which meant aerosol was sort of out of the question. However, I did give
willowperson a cobalt blue mohawk and am now living vicariously through her partially shaved head/boyish good looks. Perhaps pictures later if I can find her tonight.
I also had a very pleasant experience at a B-Town wig store on Saturday which left me in possession of an ultramarine and black layered 'do (libby goes blue! scandal!), some likely local business for ExoCab, and a new place to hang out. I highly recommend Wigs Unlimited if one is in search of a practical hairdo for work purposes and whatnot, though admittedly I also failed at grown-up hair. :D
